Situated at the western end of Ocean Isle Beach are the Island Park Cottages. Turtle Portal is a 5-year old, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, two-story home located in a private cul-de-sac with a lagoon setting. The location to the beach is one of the best in the community, with few homes offering a shorter walking distance on low traffic private roads.

The home includes 3 Queen beds, 2 Twins and a Queen sleeper sofa. A full-size Jack and Jill bathroom is available on each floor with a convenient powder room on the first floor. A full-size washer and dryer are also located on the first floor. A private outdoor Hot/Cold shower with dressing area is located on the ground floor for convenience when you return from the beach.

The bright, white kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric range/oven, microwave, 2 drip coffee makers, bean grinder, and a blender.

For entertainment you'll find 3 cable-color televisions, 3 CD players, DVD and VCR players and PLENTY of great beach reads that you can enjoy on the hammock.

A large wooden picnic table is located on the ground floor deck so you can enjoy the views and breezes. An extended front porch offers a relaxing place to catch the morning sun with that first cup of coffee and the back deck has a fantastic view of the lagoon, fountain, a glimpse of the ocean, and is positioned to watch the sun as it sets. Deck furniture complete with a sun umbrella and table, is for your use.

As mentioned, the community offers several pools and tennis courts. The west end of the island offers fine, white sand pristine beaches bountiful with seashells. Dolphins can be seen off-shore leaping behind the shrimping boats. Since this is a very non-commercial island, your beach treats can be purchased by several vendors pushing their carts complete with italian ice, ice cream and cold beverages as they make their daily run.

Turtle Portal is a non-smoking home. Pets are not permitted, however several suggestions for boarding facilities can be offered.
